Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This position requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various HVAC equipment and systems. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using tools such as ohmmeters and gauges. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints related to HVAC design and installation. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with other technicians on field service calls to resolve complex issues. Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems as needed. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the construction or mechanical field. Strong understanding of HVAC/R principles, plumbing, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Experience in equipment repair, appliance repair, or boiler maintenance is highly desirable. Ability to perform welding tasks as required for repairs or installations. Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
