Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have a proven track record in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and plumbing. You will work closely with other technicians and team members to deliver high-quality service to our clients. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems. Troubleshoot HVAC systems using schematics and diagnostic tools. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment. Perform equipment repairs including boilers, air conditioning units, and ammonia refrigeration systems. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations. Provide field service support to clients, ensuring their HVAC needs are met efficiently. Collaborate with construction teams on HVAC design and installation projects. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used. Assist in property maintenance tasks as needed. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role with a focus on service technician responsibilities. Strong understanding of mechanical systems including plumbing and appliance repair. Familiarity with HVAC design principles and construction processes. Experience in field service operations with a customer-focused approach. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Previous mechanic experience is preferred.
