About the Role
The Company is seeking a Partner for National Strategic Accounts in the Retina division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of the company's ophthalmology products across retina private equity groups and top-priority retina accounts. This high-impact role involves leading efforts to generate demand, foster market growth, and build long-term customer relationships through effective strategic account management, contract execution, and pull-through strategies. The Partner will be the primary point of contact for senior executives within target accounts, tasked with developing and executing customer-centric business plans that enhance access to the company's therapies. Cross-functional collaboration is essential to make strategic decisions that elevate the company's market position and improve patient outcomes.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of pharmaceutical or equivalent business experience, with at least 7 years' in the ophthalmology/retina therapeutic area. The role requires a proven track record in developing and executing strategic plans, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to build relationships based on trust and influence. The ideal candidate will have experience with GPOs, contract negotiations, and pull-through initiatives, as well as a Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field. The position demands a results-driven leader with outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of managing multiple complex projects and traveling extensively.
