Staff Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Staff Accountant to join our team in El Segundo. This is a direct hire opportunity, fully onsite, with strong growth potential in a collaborative and mission-driven environment. Healthcare industry experience is highly preferred, and candidates must have a solid foundation in general accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and participate in the month-end close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform monthly account analysis
- Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
- Maintain and update fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions in accordance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide support during audits
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger functions and the month-end close process
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (ERP systems preferred)
- High attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
