RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise clinic staff to ensure efficient daily operations and exceptional patient care. Manage clinic budgets, productivity, and financial reports to support operational goals. Coordinate patient flow, address operational challenges, and implement process improvements. Recruit, train, and mentor staff while promoting ongoing education and professional growth. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and federal/state regulations.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPEREINCE:
Bachelors degree in healthcare or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; nursing background preferred. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with experience managing staff and clinic operations. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, EMR systems (Epic experience highly desirable), and operational workflows. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building abilities. Financial and administrative experience, including budgeting and productivity monitoring. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment. Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods; occasional stooping and light lifting required.
ENVIRONMENT:
The South Peninsula Hospital is a combined 22-bed Acute Care Critical Access Hospital and 28-bed Long Term Care facility located at the southern end of the Kenai Peninsula in South-Central Alaska. Clinic Managers work primarily indoors in a collaborative, patient-focused environment where staff and providers strive for operational excellence and exceptional care. Physical and emotional demands are moderate to high, and the position occasionally involves exposure to illness, cleaning chemicals, and other workplace hazards typical of a healthcare environment.

Homer is located on the Kenai Peninsula, and about a four hour drive to Anchorage.
