1st Shift - Warehouse Associate

Join a dynamic team at one of the leading distribution centers. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a pivotal role in receiving inbound freight, processing outbound orders, and performing light assembly tasks. You will also be responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory and ensuring that the warehouse remains clean and organized.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day operational warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading materials, picking, packing, and shipping orders using handheld tools.
• Complete accurate data entry by utilizing multiple computer systems and programs.
• Operate material handling machinery including pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, scales, and forklifts.
• Correctly stock and move material throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory to maintain accurate data inventory.
• Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed in all work performed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Essential Skills:

• 6+ months of warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with forklift operation.
• Proficiency in inventory management, picking, packing, and material handling.
• Skill in using RF scanners and pallet jacks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Any forklift operating experience is a plus.

Work Environment:

The position is on the 1st shift, working from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The warehouse is a smaller shop with a team of 10-12 people, and overtime is rarely required. Pay starts at $20/hr.

This is a position based out of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
