Warehouse Associate

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate, where you will engage in various tasks related to shipping and receiving within our warehouse department. This all-encompassing role includes picking, packing, and paperwork duties, as well as operating forklifts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks efficiently.
• Engage in picking and packing duties.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately.
• Operate sit-down forklifts safely.
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Build and organize pallets and crates.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience with sit-down forklifts.
• Prior shipping and receiving experience.
• Proficiency in packing and inventory tasks.
• Experience using RF scanners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with stand-up reach trucks is essential.
• Willingness to perform general labor tasks such as cleaning and organizing.
• Experience in a production environment is a plus, especially in non-DC or 3PL settings.

Work Environment:

Work in a very clean, organized, and spacious manufacturing floor that is quiet and well-lit. The current team consists of about 15 people, with plans to expand to 25 by the end of the year. The work schedule is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, providing a balanced work-life routine.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bolingbrook, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
