LHH is looking for an Accountant to join a dynamic team in Columbus, OH, where innovation meets industry. This is a contract opportunity that is set to run through at least the end of the year!
What You'll Do:
As an Accountant contractor, you'll support the financial health of a thriving manufacturing operation. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, support cost analysis, and help drive strategic decisions that keep the business moving forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with operations to track and report on manufacturing costs
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Provide insights to improve financial efficiency and accuracy
- 2+ years of accounting experience (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- Manufacturing industry experience (preferred)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (bonus points for SAP or Oracle)
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills
