Business Systems Analyst Responsibilities: * Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements. * Create business process models, data flows, BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. * Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to ensure accurate solution delivery. * Conduct system testing and validation of technical deliverables. * Develop user guides and training materials. * Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences. * Stay updated on industry trends to improve business and technical processes.
Business Systems Analyst Qualifications: * 5+ years of health care IT experience in Managed Care Reporting or related field * Strong SQL Programming Skills (MS SQL Server/Azure platforms) * Epic Tapestry clarity reporting certification is preferred * Ability to program using SAS, R, Python, or Stata for data management and analysis * Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data structures, and reporting * Extensive knowledge of best practices regarding reporting, workflows, policies, procedures, systems, and culture in the healthcare environment * Ability to translate business questions and requirements into reports, views, and BI query objects
