One of the most prestigious and well-known universities is seeking a Business Systems Analyst. The successful candidate will gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical solutions, serving as a liaison between stakeholders and IT to support system development, integration, testing, and user training. Business Systems Analyst Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Create business process models, data flows, BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to ensure accurate solution delivery.
• Conduct system testing and validation of technical deliverables.
• Develop user guides and training materials.
• Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Stay updated on industry trends to improve business and technical processes.

Business Systems Analyst Qualifications:

• 5+ years of health care IT experience in Managed Care Reporting or related field
• Strong SQL Programming Skills (MS SQL Server/Azure platforms)
• Epic Tapestry clarity reporting certification is preferred
• Ability to program using SAS, R, Python, or Stata for data management and analysis
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data structures, and reporting
• Extensive knowledge of best practices regarding reporting, workflows, policies, procedures, systems, and culture in the healthcare environment
• Ability to translate business questions and requirements into reports, views, and BI query objects
