Overview

Data Analyst plays a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. This position requires expertise in data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design and maintain dashboards, generate automated reports, and provide meaningful recommendations that improve efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large data sets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
• Translate complex data findings into clear, concise insights for leadership and stakeholders.
• Automate recurring reports and establish data pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with business units to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Identify data trends, anomalies, and opportunities to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, quality standards, and security policies.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and data support for special projects and organizational initiatives.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building best practices within the analytics team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)

• Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
• Proficiency in BI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Excel).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with programming languages for data analysis (Python, R) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or in a team environment.

Preferences

• Master’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a relevant quantitative field

• 6 years of professional experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a relevant quantitative field

• Experience with predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning.
• Knowledge of data governance and best practices for data security.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
• Strong presentation skills for communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

General Information

Position Type: Full-Time | Regular | 40 hours per week.

Subject to early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on project workload.

Salary: Commensurate with experience, based on 26 pay periods.

Physical Demands and Environmental Exposure: Most assignments are in an office or meeting environment; some field work may be required. May require extended hours during activation of disaster recovery operations.
