Position Overview
Data Analyst plays a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. This position requires expertise in data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design and maintain dashboards, generate automated reports, and provide meaningful recommendations that improve efficiency and performance.
Job Duties
- Collect, clean, and analyze large data sets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise insights for leadership and stakeholders.
- Automate recurring reports and establish data pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with business units to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Identify data trends, anomalies, and opportunities to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, quality standards, and security policies.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and data support for special projects and organizational initiatives.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building best practices within the analytics team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
Experience
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)
- Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
- Proficiency in BI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Excel).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Familiarity with programming languages for data analysis (Python, R) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or in a team environment.
Preferences
Education
- Master’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a relevant quantitative field
Experience
- 6 years of professional experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a relevant quantitative field
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)
- Experience with predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning.
- Knowledge of data governance and best practices for data security.
- Ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
- Strong presentation skills for communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
General Information
Position Type, and Typical Hours of Work
Full-Time | Regular | 40 hours per week.
Subject to early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays at times, depending upon the project or workload.
Salary
Commensurate with experience, based on 26 pay periods.
Physical Demands and Environmental Exposure
Most assignments will be performed in an office, meeting, or operations command center environment, but some field work may be required. May be required to work extended work hours during activation of disaster recovery operations for an unspecified length of time (varies based on the extent of the event).
This position requires bending, stooping, and lifting to 25 lbs., frequent walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and ascending/descending stairs.
