Position Details

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM; Sunday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns
• Monitor access points and report unusual or suspicious activity according to established protocols
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents or site needs
• Document activities, observations, and incidents per Allied Universal and client requirements
• Maintain a visible security presence and provide assistance to ensure a secure environment

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• Desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Access control or badge experience is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws
• Criminal history considered in accordance with applicable laws
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
