Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst III to join our team in Houston, Texas. This long-term contract position involves conducting detailed operational analyses to support strategic decision-making within the business unit. The role requires a proactive individual with both quantitative and qualitative research skills who can manage medium to large-scale projects and improve business processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform detailed operational analyses to provide actionable insights that support business decisions.
  2. Lead medium to large-scale special projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
  3. Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
  4. Design and modify business processes to align with organizational objectives and enhance efficiency.
  5. Develop comprehensive reports using standardized tools and techniques to communicate findings and recommendations.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement validation plans and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  7. Manage onboarding and staffing processes for contingent workforce needs within the business unit.
  8. Oversee supplier relationships and ensure alignment with organizational requirements.
  9. Apply decision-making expertise to support commission functions and expense account management.
  10. Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as NIS and NERC guidelines.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree preferred, with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  2. Strong knowledge of procedures related to business operations and process design.
  3. Proficiency in conducting both quantitative and qualitative research.
  4. Experience managing special projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  5. Familiarity with tools such as CCH Sales Tax and cyber validation plans.
  6. Ability to work onsite and manage contingent workforce processes.
  7. Excellent decision-making skills with a focus on business unit performance.
  8. Knowledge of regulatory standards, including NIS and NERC compliance.
