to spearhead the growth and leadership of a thriving Environmental Services Division. This is not just a management position; it’s an opportunity to

technical expertise

to grow a service area and make a lasting impact on communities across the region. Key Responsibilities
As the Director of Environmental Planning, you will: Lead and manage the preparation and processing of CEQA and NEPA compliance documents and related technical studies. Oversee client expectations, project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Direct and mentor a team of 25 staff members while ensuring quality control (QA/QC). Collaborate with clients, reviewing agencies (city, county, CDFW, RWQCB, USACE), and subconsultants. Prepare winning proposals and lead business development efforts with public and private sector clients. Grow brand recognition and expand environmental services throughout Southern California. Engage in strategic marketing, industry networking, and client development to build a strong pipeline of work. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Public Planning, or related field. 15+ years of relevant experience (candidates with less experience but strong credentials may also be considered). Deep understanding of CEQA/NEPA and environmental planning practices. Demonstrated experience in business development, proposal writing, and client management. Existing client relationships within Southern California are highly desirable. Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related discipline. Broad project experience across infrastructure, planning, and development sectors. Strong established relationships with agencies and key clients across the region. Why Join Us
