Overview
Regional Chief Estimator positioned within CCI ESS Estimating. Manages and administers the estimating functions in the assigned region to include operating budgets, staffing assignments, and work assignments. Implements established estimating policies to meet corporate objectives. Works with project managers to provide administrative and technical assistance in negotiating purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders during procurement. Responsibilities
Supervises the preparation of market cost studies, materials and methods, and recommends appropriate changes to the database. Assists regional leadership by reviewing project details, providing recommendations, and collaboratively determining strategies, techniques, and resources needed. Provides close coordination and oversight with design discipline leads for cost effectiveness and constructability for proposals. Ensures standardized use of approved estimating systems; maintains and enhances the cost database estimating system. Maintains historical data for estimating man-hours for various types of estimates (hard bid, design/build, construction management at risk, opinions of probable construction cost, etc.) and bid results by project. Reviews all final estimates and proposal packages to ensure accuracy and completeness for formal quotation and presentation. Contacts subcontractors and suppliers for outsource pricing. Performs additional duties as required. Job Details

Regular Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. 10 years of related experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on duties and workload. Equivalent directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Preferred Qualifications:
Must reside near a regional office ( Denver, CO; Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Carlsbad, CA; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Maitland, FL; Syracuse, NY; Fairfax, VA; Boston, MA; Chelmsford, MA). Experience in Wastewater industry. Additional Details
