Senior Cloud Developer (AWS)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Developer with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-native applications and solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on development skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture & Development Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications leveraging AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway). Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Optimize workloads for cost, scalability, performance, and security. Application Development Build and maintain microservices-based architectures. Develop APIs and integration layers for enterprise systems. Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies. Security & Compliance Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and data protection standards. Partner with security teams to embed governance, monitoring, and incident response strategies. Collaboration & Leadership Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and engineers. Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery of cloud solutions. Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in cloud development, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS. Strong programming skills in one or more languages: Python, Java, Node.js, or Go. Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS). Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.). Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and monitoring (CloudWatch, X-Ray, ELK/Prometheus/Grafana). Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments.
