*Responsibilities*

* Perform a range of dental procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
* Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
* Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options, addressing any concerns or questions.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to optimize patient care and clinic operations.
* Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
* Provide education on oral health care practices to patients of all ages.
*Qualifications*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
* Valid state dental license with the ability to practice dentistry.
* Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
* Knowledge of dental terminology and medical documentation practices.
* Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
* Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
* Ability to perform root canal therapy and other specialized treatments as needed.
