About the position:
We are seeking a friendly, welcoming, and professional Receptionist to join our team. This is a full-time position. As the first point of contact for customers in person and on the phone, the Receptionist plays a key role in creating a positive impression for the company. A friendly, courteous disposition and a reputation for dependability are the most important qualities we are looking for in a Receptionist. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Greet customers, vendors, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Answer all inbound calls in a pleasant, courteous manner
- Direct customers, vendors, and visitors to the appropriate team members
- Take detailed messages for team members who are absent or unavailable
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area
- Assist the sales team and the accounting department with various administrative tasks and projects
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A friendly, welcoming, and courteous demeanor
- Excellent phone skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow established procedures and protocols
- Eligibility to work in the USA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a receptionist or front desk associate
- Spanish fluency is a plus
Work Environment:
The Receptionist will work at a desk in a climate-controlled reception area. Working conditions in the reception area are normal for an office environment. However, the workplace also includes a warehouse and a repair shop. The Receptionists job will not require work in these areas of the workplace, but the Receptionist should be aware of the presence of forklifts, rotating machines, and loud noises in the repair shop and warehouse. Working conditions are normal for a repair shop and manufacturing environment.
Work Schedule: 8:00 to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break
Pay Range: $12 to $15 per hour, depending on qualifications and quality of references
