Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Migration Support Specialist for a six-month contact-to-hire role. This is a hybrid position.The Migration Support Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the migration of data, systems and processes during the transition to new platforms and technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in the insurance industry, strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and executingof system migration projects. Analyze existing data and ensure accurate, complete migration to new platforms. Coordinate all phases of the migration process, including data mapping. Collaborate with internal teams-including IT, operationsand client services-to support migration activities. Identify potential risks and issues related to migration and supportmitigation strategies. Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure data integrity throughout the migration process. Provide end-user support for new systems and processes. Report progress, issuesand results to Director of Operations and stakeholders. Support testing of new systems and platforms to ensure post-migration functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the pre- and post-migration process. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 5+ years of property and casualty insurance operationsexperience with a wholesale agency or managing general agent Experience in policy administration, claims processingor underwriting Proven experience withdata migration projects or IT system implementations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools Ability to work independently and collaboratively Familiarity with insurance software systems and platforms such as AIM, MGA Systems, NetRate and ImageRight
Pay Range: The anticipated pay range for this position is $45-50 per hour.
