Indiana University
Provides clerical support and assistance to Regional HR Director.
Provides support to other HR staff.
Coordinates, processes, verifies, and maintains HR related documentation, which may include recruitment, training, employee relations, performance evaluations, classifications and I-9s.
Assists the HR team by researching information.
Performs data entry for processing transactions and maintaining and keeping employee information current.
Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and documents.
Processes new student worker hires.
Coordinates with Healthy Indiana University (IU) committee chair for all campus initiatives.
Initiates offer letters and completes onboarding/welcome process for new employees.
Assists with campus events and recognition.
Assists with job postings and interviews as needed.
Manages social media.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED) WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
2 years administrative support (preferably providing HR support using Microsoft Office suite products) SKILLS
Required
Demonstrated customer service skills Effective interpersonal skills Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities Friendly and service-oriented Highly thorough and dependable Strong organizing and prioritizing skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Work Location
