Description Boulder County Community Services Department is seeking to hire a
Bilingual Operational Services Support . This position provides specialized clerical and technical support to ensure the efficient operation of the Joe Pelle Center (JPC). The role involves handling a variety of administrative tasks such as maintaining records and filing systems, processing financial transactions, and assisting the public with inquiries regarding current sentencing programs and clients. Current alternative sentencing programs include Electronic Home Monitoring, Day Reporting, Work Release and Community Corrections.
This is a
full-time, benefited
position that will work
Monday - Friday
8:00am - 4:30pm . This position will work out of
3260 Airport Road , Boulder, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is
non-exempt
(eligible for overtime).
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Hiring Salary Range : $50,004.00 - $55,506.00 Annually

Examples of Duties
Supports leadership in the planning and implementation of a comprehensive plan to transition sentencing programs from the Sheriff's Office and private vendors to the JPC Supports the scheduling of conference rooms, event coordination, and the preparation of program and training materials Develops, organizes, and maintains recordkeeping systems Reviews and verifies reports, forms and specialized records Collaborates with other agencies, to include probation, the courts and out-of-county departments, and troubleshoots issues Provides navigation and support to find appropriate services or departments Ability to interact & use soft skills with behavioral health population and working with clients and public who are dealing with high stress situations Assists the public desk in person at the front and via telephone answering questions, understanding policies and procedures, and transferring calls to appropriate parties Prepares the front office prior to opening and closing each day including counting cash and balancing payment envelopes with a cash receipt journal; checking printer machines for paper, tidying up the lobby, and checking voicemails Receives payments and issues receipts to clients and the public in person and online Picks up, delivers sorts and distributes daily mail Checks office inventory of forms and supplies Performs related work, as required May be reassigned during emergency situations
