We are looking for a friendly and organized Customer Service/Receptionist to join a healthcare facility in Flint NT, Michigan. In this Contract position, you will play a key role in welcoming visitors, managing inquiries, and assisting with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors as they arrive, determine their needs, and direct them to the appropriate departments.
• Document interactions and communications thoroughly to maintain accurate records.
• Schedule appointments, make reminder calls, and follow up with patients who miss scheduled visits.
• Update and manage Electronic Medical Records as required.
• Handle incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, providing solutions or routing inquiries appropriately.
• Distribute mail, maintain office supplies, and perform general clerical tasks.
• Type correspondence, reports, and other documents with accuracy.
• Assist with special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries with patience and professionalism.• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 3 months of experience in a receptionist or similar customer service role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (basic), and Outlook.
• Experience working with Electronic Medical Records is highly preferred.
• Ability to interact effectively and courteously with the public, demonstrating patience and care.
• Comfort in fast-paced healthcare settings and adaptability to new software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
