Job Description

My client is a steel contractor offering high quality construction service to owners and builders in the Bay Area. We are looking for a Project Engineer / Project Manager | Project Engineer

*Not a Remote Position*
*Our company sponsor H-1B visa/OPT for international student

Job duties include, but not limited to:

Assist Project Manager to oversee each assigned project
Ensure construction work complies with contract requirements and meets project schedule
Review construction project plans, specifications, and shop drawings
Issue Purchase Requests to buy raw materials for fabrication.
Process RFI, and change orders
Manage and schedule shop drawing processing, shop fabrication, and field installation
Communicate and coordinate with clients and inspectors to ensure project is progressing smoothly
Attend construction site meetings

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent
Great attitude towards individual performance and teamwork.
Able to use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
Able to understand Architectural Drawings and Structural Drawings.
Able to read and write clearly and concisely in English to describe technical / mathematical / geometric / spatial objects and situations.
Bilingual in English and Chinese is a plus but not necessary
