*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine dental health and treatment needs.
* Perform a variety of dental procedures including prosthodontics, root canal therapy, and dental extractions.
* Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
* Implement infection control protocols to ensure the safety and health of patients and staff.
* Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
* Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry to enhance skills and knowledge.
*Requirements*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
* Strong skills in patient care with a focus on comfort and satisfaction.
* Experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
* Proficiency in medical documentation practices related to dentistry.
* Knowledge of prosthodontics, root canal therapy, and dental extractions is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with infection control standards within a clinical environment.
* Experience with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is an advantage.
