Summary We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our team in Access Dental & Orthodontics. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional dental care and improving the oral health of our community. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of serving those in need.
Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments. Provide preventive and restorative dental treatments. Conduct oral surgeries as needed, including extractions and root canals. Deliver pediatric dentistry services with a focus on child-friendly care. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care. Uphold infection control protocols within the practice. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree.
Valid state ILLINOIS dental license.
Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and general dentistry practices. Excellent patient assessment and communication skills. Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is preferred. Commitment to providing compassionate care to underserved populations. Understanding of infection control standards and aseptic techniques.
