JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL. This role is a combination of administrative computer-based work and physical floor tasks. Responsibilities include working with Oracle and transportation management systems, updating daily spreadsheets, scheduling carrier pickups, and handling shipping documentation. The position requires consistent attendance, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment that is not fully climate-controlled.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform data entry in Oracle and transportation management systems.
- Update and maintain daily spreadsheets and schedule carrier pickups.
- Apply shipping documents and packing slips to outgoing shipments.
- Assist Quality Assurance (QA) team when needed.
- Unbox copiers and parts, and prepare them to be moved into the shop.
- Engage in physical warehouse work including bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling items.
- Perform team lifting for items weighing over 50 lbs.
- Work in and out of trailers and maintain productivity throughout the day.
- Adhere to dress code: sneakers, jeans (no sweatpants or stretch pants), and no lettering on shirts/sweatshirts.
- Be open to cross-training and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that may require overtime and occasional Saturday work.
- Willingness to work both on the floor and at a computer.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
EDUCATION DETAILS
High school diploma or equivalent.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Previous warehouse clerk experience preferred (UPS data entry experience is a plus), but not required. Training will be provided.
