Develop comprehensive cost estimates for residential construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services. Review architectural plans, specifications, and site conditions to prepare accurate bid proposals. Coordinate with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure alignment on scope, budget, and timelines. Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project feasibility. Track market trends and maintain a database of residential construction costs and vendor pricing. Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies without compromising quality. The ideal candidate will have
5+ years of experience
estimating residential construction projects in New York City, with a strong understanding of local building codes, zoning regulations, and market pricing. Proficiency in estimating software (such as Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or Bluebeam) is essential, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills. A successful estimator will be highly organized, collaborative, and capable of balancing precision with speed in a fast-paced environment. What's on Offer
