School Social Worker (2 Positions Available)

Location: College Prep Charter High School | Grades 9-12

Position Type: Full-Time (35 hours/week) | Onsite

Contract Dates: August 7, 2025 - May 22, 2026

Work Hours: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Salary Range: $56,000 - $70,000

About The Role

AnthroMed Education is seeking two full-time School Social Workers to join a college-preparatory charter high school serving over 500 students in a dynamic and student-centered environment. These roles are available to help support a growing caseload of students with IEPs and 504s, as well as lead proactive and responsive crisis intervention throughout the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support a caseload of approximately 60 students with 504s and IEPs (to be split between 2 staff)
  • Provide direct and group services aligned with IEP/504 goals
  • Lead or participate in crisis response and behavioral support across the school
  • Collaborate with staff, administration, and families to support students’ emotional and academic well-being
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP/504 meetings
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for students navigating mental health, behavior, and access to services

Qualifications

  • PEL (Professional Educator License) with a school social work endorsement required
  • Strong preference for candidates with prior school-based social work experience, especially in high school settings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Crisis management experience is highly valued
