AWS is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented candidate to join as the Senior Partner Development Manager, ASEAN. Reporting to the ASEAN Partner Organization Leader, the role focuses on building mind share and broad use of AWS services and solutions, and delivering strategic initiatives with a portfolio of partners and solution providers. The ideal candidate will combine business acumen for CXO/VP engagements with a sales and partner-management background to lead and influence peers and partners across alliance, partner development, partner sales, specialized sales, and account teams. The role requires strategic thinking about business, product, and technical challenges, and the ability to convey compelling value propositions within a large, matrix organization. This opportunity is open to talents in all ASEAN countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam) and will be placed where the talent is based (no relocation is required). Key job responsibilities
Manage a set of strategic business development and growth initiatives to accelerate ASEANs most strategic partnerships in collaboration with Partner Development Managers, Partner Sales Managers, Account Teams and ASEAN Sales Leadership. Build and lead Executive Connect mechanisms with strategic partners and customers to accelerate GenAI and digital transformations involving board and C-Suite engagement. Establish, build and execute strategic planning, initiatives and run-the-business mechanisms to drive acceleration across the organization. Partner Leadership owner for partner marketing initiatives, aligning partner strategies with the partner marketing plan and serving as primary sponsor for marketing and strategic communications with the partner marketing and partner public relations teams. Serve as the voice of the partner to AWS partner sales and core teams to support partner growth through development of new capabilities and services with various AWS teams. Manage and develop multiple Sales and Partner Leadership stakeholder relationships, earning trust by aligning and executing on initiatives that support both sales and partner strategies. Contribute as a bar-raiser for documents, coaching broader team on written materials to accelerate initiatives and deliver high-quality executive engagements. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements 7+ years of professional or military experience Bachelor's degree Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
