The Team A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice focuses on serving upper middle market and large-cap private equity firms to improve operating results at their portfolio companies. The PEPI service line includes the following areas:

Responsibilities
Director-level responsibilities include providing service excellence by identifying client issues, determining needs, and developing recommendations within the engagement context.
Depending on deal size, lead the entire Integration Management Office (IMO) or a focus area within IMO – such as Synergies, TSAs, Blueprinting, Day 1 Readiness, Executive Reporting, and Integration Roadmap.
Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that design and implement creative business and technology solutions for PE clients and their portfolio companies.
Provide interim functional management as required.
Lead Day 1 and Day 100 Planning and drive performance improvement in key areas including:
Strategic planning
Operational optimization / consolidation
Back office consolidation
Supply chain
IT / reporting integration
Customer and channel management
Actively drive performance improvement assessments and oversee implementation of recommendations.
Track progress against Day 1 and Day 100 objectives and adjust strategies as needed.
Ensure quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and client relationships to achieve exceptional performance.
Participate in development and presentation of proposals for business development activities.
Lead small engagements or components of large engagements as appropriate.
Practice Development & Eminence: develop practical solutions and methodologies; contribute to thought leadership and public speaking activities.
People Development: coach teams, participate in staffing, and support delivery teams in local offices.
Qualifications
10+ years of professional consulting experience, specializing in merger integration, divestitures, business transformation, and change management
Experience in integration planning and divestitures is a plus but not required
Experience in leading one or more work streams in a business transformation
Deep functional expertise in several areas, including Finance & Accounting operations; HR / Organizational design; Leadership and Stakeholder Involvement; Communications planning; Supply Chain / Operations; IT / reporting integration; and more
MBA preferred
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Initiative and drive; critical thinking skills
Flexibility to travel at least 75% of the time

Benefits Summary Full-time positions (over 30 hours) include healthcare plans, flexible spending accounts, life, AD&D, disability coverages, and a 401(k) plan. Eligible employees may receive an annual discretionary 401(k) contribution, paid time off, holidays, and parental leave.
