Our Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice serves upper middle market and large-cap private equity firms, focusing on improving operational results at portfolio companies, typically in the $50 million to $1 billion+ range. This role offers the opportunity to develop operational skills within A&M PEPI’s Merger Integration & Carve-outs (MI&C) team, working on some of the largest and most complex deals in the US. The team provides structured approaches for mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, joint ventures, and alliances, covering the entire deal lifecycle from pre-deal reviews to post-close execution. Responsibilities

Lead workstreams or focus areas within the Integration Management Office (IMO), such as synergies, TSAs, Day 1 Readiness, and integration planning Support the development and review of restructuring and turnaround plans Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies Drive performance improvement assessments and oversee implementation of recommendations Qualifications

5-8+ years of consulting experience in merger integration, business transformation, or change management Experience leading work streams in business transformation projects Deep expertise in areas such as finance, HR, supply chain, or sales effectiveness MBA preferred Excellent communication, initiative, and critical thinking skills Willingness to travel up to 75% Benefits & Compensation

Salary range: $125,000 - $190,000 annually, plus discretionary bonuses. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), paid time off, and more. Full-time and part-time positions over 30 hours are available. Additional Information
