Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil construction, project management, and team leadership. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project success. Duties Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards. Coordinate project schedules and manage resources effectively using construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications. Conduct construction estimating to prepare accurate budgets and forecasts for projects. Utilize tools like Bluebeam for document management and collaboration among team members. Manage project coordination activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Oversee the training and development of team members, fostering a collaborative work environment. Monitor progress against project timelines, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines. Experience Proven experience in civil construction supervision or a related field is essential. Familiarity with construction management software such as HeavyBid and Primavera for effective project scheduling. Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and techniques. Experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and contracts is required. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred, demonstrating hands-on knowledge of site operations.
