Shipping And Receiving Clerk
A Shipping and Receiving Clerk performs various tasks related to setting up and operating equipment in a battery recycling facility, ensuring high-quality product output and proper maintenance. Responsibilities Operate machinery and maintain equipment to ensure high-quality product output. Clean work areas and follow safety protocols. Move finished products using forklifts and comply with environmental and safety regulations. Handle materials: Move materials and products, potentially using a forklift, to and from the production and sorting areas. Sort and package batteries: Assist with the identification, separation, and packaging of different types of batteries and their components into correct containers. Conduct quality checks: Inspect products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards and report any defects or equipment issues to a supervisor. Maintain cleanliness: Keep the work area and equipment clean and orderly. Essential Skills General production experience Experience with hand tools Machine operation skills General labor skills Construction experience Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in shipping and receiving Why Work Here?
