We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Vero Beach. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established company that values accuracy, efficiency, and a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AP processes and be ready to hit the ground running. Location: Vero Beach, FL Pay Rate: $25$29/hour (based on experience) Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-Time | Onsite Key Responsibilities:
Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner Match, batch, and code invoices Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Prepare and process payments (ACH, checks, wires) Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with internal controls Assist with month-end closing and reporting Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues Qualifications:
2+ years of recent AP experience required Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs a plus) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's in Accounting or related field preferred Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour Search managed by: Nikki Caudill Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
