Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist to monitor outstanding receivables and initiate follow-up actions for overdue balances. You will generate and distribute periodic account statements to external stakeholders, while maintaining regular communication with internal teams regarding payment statuses. Your role will also involve performing reconciliations between internal records and client accounts and ensuring receivables aging reports reflect payments, credits, and adjustments accurately. Responsibilities: Monitor outstanding receivables and initiate follow-up actions for overdue balances. Generate and distribute periodic account statements to external stakeholders. Maintain regular communication with internal teams regarding payment statuses. Perform reconciliations between internal records and client accounts. Ensure receivables aging reports are current, reflecting payments, credits, and adjustments accurately. Record financial transactions including incoming payments, vendor disbursements, and expense submissions. Support specialized accounting processes such as reviewing statements, preparing invoices, and managing collections. Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and contribute to special projects requiring strong analytical capabilities. Essential Skills: Experience in accounts receivable, aging reports, and billing collections. Proficiency in Deltek, particularly transitioning from Vintage to Vantage Point. Advanced Excel skills, including Vlookups, pivot tables, and data analysis. 2+ years of accounting experience. Experience in the AEC industry, accounting, invoice processing, and collections. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills for direct interaction with design leadership. Ability to adapt to new technologies. Bachelor's degree in accounting. Work Environment: The position is based in a hybrid work setting, with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home. There is an anticipation of transitioning to 5 days in the office in the future. You will be part of a global architecture and design firm, providing exposure to high-impact projects. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
