Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temporary assignment lasting 6 months or longer. As an accounts receivable specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's incoming payments and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions. You will play a vital role in maintaining strong relationships with our clients, as well as supporting our finance team in various accounting tasks. In this role, attention to detail and a high level of organization are essential. You should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities
Manage and monitor accounts receivable transactions and ensure timely and accurate recording Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues with client payments Conduct regular reviews of account statuses and aging reports, and follow up on outstanding balances Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any billing or payment issues Process and reconcile incoming payments and apply them to appropriate accounts Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions Prepare and distribute periodic financial statements to internal stakeholders Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred, as well as a CCE designation 2+ years of experience as an accounts receivable specialist or similar role Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Proficient in using accounting software (SAP) and MS Office applications Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
