Billing Specialist
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Billing Specialist
to join our team, specializing in
high-volume billing . This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
Accurately review and process field tickets/invoices on a daily basis. Ensure timely and correct entry of disposal and service tickets into the billing system. Resolve discrepancies and investigate any billing or ticketing issues in coordination with field staff or clients. Perform manual data entry as required to maintain billing accuracy. Regular use of Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables, to analyze and manage billing data. Work closely with the accounting team; serve as backup support for accounts payable as needed. Assist in cross-training initiatives to support broader team functionality. Requirements:
Proven experience in high-volume billing, preferably in the fuel, oil & gas, or energy sector. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, VLOOKUP, IF statements, and pivot tables. Solid working knowledge of QuickBooks and Open Invoice/Ticket systems. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Willingness to learn and assist with cross-functional tasks like payables.
