LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company based in Portland to hire an Administrative Specialist for a 3-month temporary assignment within property management. We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide applicant support during the housing waitlist process, ensuring timely, accurate, and equitable communication. Location: Portland, OR Duration: Temporary
3 months Hours/Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM
4:30 PM Compensation: $30 per hour Responsibilities: Assist with processing waitlist lottery results, including managing phones and mailings. Support applicants by troubleshooting issues with RentCafe accounts. Track and log incoming mail and calls to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Provide clear, supportive communication using a trauma-informed, equity-based approach. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure fairness and compliance throughout the process. Qualifications: Strong customer service and communication skills; able to provide patient, empathetic support. Familiarity with online portals such as RentCafe, with the ability to troubleshoot account issues. Skilled in accurate data tracking and record-keeping. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in applications, mail, and communication records. Problem-solving mindset, applying empathy and cultural awareness when assisting applicants. Team-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn new systems quickly.
