Accounts Payable Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. You will play a vital part in handling financial transactions, balancing accounts, and interacting with vendors and employees. Responsibilities: Enter accurate data into the payment system and adjust invoices for sales use tax. Review account coding and apply vendor credits. Review employee expense reports for accuracy and process check request payments. Set up and update payment records for new vendors, members, providers, and employees. Perform daily balancing and reconciliation, print checks, and maintain proper record archiving. Research bank records to verify check status and process cancellations and stop payments. Process voucher corrections and reissue checks through the payment system, and request check printing. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or similar accounting functions. Work Environment: You will work Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm, in a cubicle setting as part of a team. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00/hr.
