Treasury Accountant

A client based in Secaucus, NJ is currently seeking a Treasury Accountant to join their staff on a contract basis. The Treasury Accountant will primarily be responsible for reconciling credit settlement accounts, bank reconciliations, preparing daily cash positions, and support monthly close activities. The ideal Treasury Accountant will have recent experience working in the retail sector, and will have recently worked on NetSuite.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in treasury or corporate finance, including leadership responsibilities.

Deep understanding of bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and financial compliance.

Proficiency in using NetSuite and online banking platforms.

Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

Excellent communication skills, especially in managing external banking relationships.

Experience with compliance documentation and lender interactions is an advantage.
