LOCATION OF HIRING: Renewal by Andersen (RbA) has an opportunity in the Cleveland market to join a winning, competitive team of Design Consultants. The Cleveland market has an upcoming sales class scheduled to begin on December 1, 2025. As a Design Consultant, you will be surrounded by a highly energized team who is passionate about enriching the lives of our homeowners.

Position Purpose

Design consultants deliver a world-class homeowner experience through in-home sales consultations lasting about 90 minutes. They conduct 8 to 12 appointments per week, showcasing Renewal by Andersen’s exclusive product and installation process. Success requires emotional intelligence, active listening, and the ability to recommend and close on solutions that meet customer needs. Consultants are trained to offer a wide range of window, patio door, and entry door options.

Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home sales consultations using an iPad and augmented reality to design and build window and door replacement solutions. Follow Renewal Sales and measure processes through to completion, submitting contracts and paperwork for each project.
  • Drive personal vehicle to in-home appointments with travel up to 1,800–2,500 miles per month.
  • Attend and actively participate in sales, trainings, and branch meetings.
  • Support the sales project process during technical measurements/appointments, including documentation, order changes, discounting guidelines, and ongoing homeowner communication.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong persuasive skills with the ability to overcome objections and close sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and a commitment to a world-class homeowner experience.
  • Values collaboration and builds strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Positive attitude and drive to exceed goals in a competitive industry.
  • Basic computer/iPad skills.
  • Must have a valid state driver\'s license and/or ability to obtain in-home state license (requirements vary by state).
  • Must be able to lift/move items up to 53 pounds and perform related physical tasks; able to sit, walk, and climb stairs as needed.
  • Meet and maintain company sales metrics and performance expectations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or minimum 2 years of experience.

Salary Information

Pay is based on factors including experience, location, and certifications. Successful candidates are expected to earn over $150,000 per year. Details will be shared by the recruiter during the hiring process.
