We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our team in Access Dental & Orthodontics. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional dental care and improving the oral health of our community. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of serving those in need.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments.
* Provide preventive and restorative dental treatments.
* Conduct oral surgeries as needed, including extractions and root canals.
* Deliver pediatric dentistry services with a focus on child-friendly care.
* Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care.
* Uphold infection control protocols within the practice.
* *Qualifications*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree.
* Valid state ILLINOIS dental license.
* Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and general dentistry practices.
* Excellent patient assessment and communication skills.
* Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is preferred.
* Commitment to providing compassionate care to underserved populations.
* Understanding of infection control standards and aseptic techniques.
