Job Title: Vice President, Corporate Development Company: Udemy Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid: 3 days in-office) Salary Range: $275,000 – $325,000 annually Role Summary
Lead Udemy’s growth through strategic acquisitions, partnerships, and investments. Manage the entire M&A lifecycle, develop corporate development strategy, and collaborate with executives to accelerate market position in the education technology sector. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute M&A strategy aligned with company goals Lead deal sourcing, negotiation, due diligence, and integration Build and manage pipeline of acquisition targets and strategic partners Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and risk analysis Oversee cross-functional due diligence teams Structure deals to optimize value and mitigate risks Collaborate with executive team and report to board Lead and mentor corporate development team Requirements
15+ years experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting Proven success in sourcing, executing, and integrating acquisitions Strong financial acumen including valuation and deal structuring Experience in edtech or related industries preferred Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Why Work Here
