Title: Senior Manager, Domestic Transportation Location: San Francisco Bay Area Work Schedule: Hybrid (4 days in-office) Your Impact

Lead & Inspire: Mentor, develop, and empower a talented team of transportation professionals. You’ll be responsible for hiring, coaching, and fostering a positive, collaborative culture where everyone can succeed. Drive Operational Excellence: Analyze, map, and refine our entire freight management workflow—from order receipt to final billing—to identify bottlenecks, boost efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. Champion Innovation: Leverage and optimize our Transportation Management System (TMS), Salesforce, and other technologies to unlock new levels of performance and productivity. Keep us on the cutting edge of industry best practices. Build Strategic Partnerships: Lead carrier management and contract negotiation, cultivating strong partnerships with carriers and agents to optimize routes and identify significant cost-saving opportunities. Ensure Unwavering Quality & Compliance: Uphold our commitment to safety and regulatory compliance (DOT, FMCSA, etc.). You’ll own the process for quality control, conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions. Tell the Story with Data: Prepare and present insightful reports on key performance indicators (KPIs). You’ll transform data into actionable strategies for continuous improvement. What You Bring to the Table

Proven Leadership: A Bachelor’s degree combined with a minimum of 2 years of management experience in Transportation, Supply Chain, or a related logistics field. Process Improvement Mindset: You’re a natural problem-solver, skilled in analyzing complex situations to find the root cause. Familiarity with methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen is a major plus. Tech-Savvy Expertise: Advanced proficiency with MS Office and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is essential. A People-First Approach: You lead with humility, respect, and a calm demeanor, even in high-pressure situations. Customer-Centric Focus: A deep-seated passion for delivering a world-class customer experience.
