Project Manager – Power Distribution (T&D)

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead electric power distribution engineering projects from planning through construction. This role is ideal for someone who wants to drive high-impact infrastructure work while building long-term client relationships.
You’ll oversee modernization and upgrade projects for electric distribution systems — including routing, permitting, design, right-of-way acquisition, estimating, procurement, and construction administration. You’ll be accountable for project delivery, client satisfaction, and financial performance, while also helping grow our distribution business.
What You’ll Do
- Manage full lifecycle of distribution engineering projects (concept to closeout)
- Act as primary point of contact with utility clients
- Lead budgets, schedules, scope, risk, and financial reporting
- Oversee internal teams and external contractors to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
- Support proposals, contract negotiations, and business development efforts
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and project staff
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience in electric distribution or T&D projects , including 3+ in project management
- Strong understanding of NESC and utility design standards
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to deliver complex engineering projects on time and on budget
- PE license and/or PMP certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (~20%)
