A customer is seeking a fully remote Network Engineer. - Provide L3 Operations support for investigation, troubleshooting and resolving network communications and operations issues impacting client, backbone access, or performance - Design, engineer, and implement complex network solutions in a variety of disciplines, security postures, access control, and infrastructure - Responsible for Incident Management, Request Fulfillment, Change Management, Event Management, and Problem Management for all client environments - Drive and implement network solutions-based architectures to increase efficiencies - Analyzes current and future information technology industry trends to determine the potential impact on business or network systems architecture - Design, engineer and implementation of Software Defined Networking - Can pay $60-65/h

Required Skills & Experience - 7 years of Network Engineering experience - Understanding of large-scale network capacity management and modeling. - Ability to manage multiple projects and ability to plan Network roadmap - Network engineering, design, and architecture expertise with exposure to two or more of the following areas: LAN/WAN, firewalls, wireless, security, VOIP, QoS, and encryption technologies while adhering to standard design methodologies and best practices - Firewall experience: Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA - BGP, eBGP, SNMP, VPN, SSH, and MPLS technologies. - Extensive knowledge of Cisco's product portfolio; routers, switches, wireless, ACS and ISE

Nice to Have Skills & Experience - Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCDP, CCIE, or CCDE desired
