Accounts Receivable Specialist
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining financial records related to customer accounts. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to resolve billing issues and support financial operations. This role is temp to hire and will pay between $18 and $22/hr. Responsibilities:
Process and post incoming payments via various channels including ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit cards Monitor customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payment, and other irregularities Generate and send invoices to clients in accordance with contract terms Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted Investigate and resolve discrepancies and customer queries related to billing and payments Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate invoicing and account management Prepare aging reports and assist with collections efforts to reduce outstanding receivables Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing necessary documentation and reports Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in receivables management Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting required Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Effective communication skills for internal and external interactions If you would like to learn more, please apply now.
