Location: Sumner County, 100% On-Site, 7:00am-4:00pm. This is a temporary to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and efficiency for accounting practices alongside Controller
• Work on fixed assets and general ledger
• Reconcile deposits
• Prepare and deliver timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting
• Review journal entries, reconcile accounts, and analyze general ledger activity
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial regulations
• Stay current on accounting standards, trends, and best practices to help implement impactful updates
• Handle prepaids, accruals, fixed assets and reconciliations

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Excel: Pivot Tables, V-lookups, X-lookups, Formulas (mid-advanced)
• Strong problem solving, variance analysis, and critical thinking
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively when required
• Quick learner with good notetaking skills
