Job Title: Delivery Driver/Warehouse

Reports To: Warehouse Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Summary: We seek a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves delivering products to customers in a timely, safe manner and assisting with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and inventory management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of handling physical tasks.
Delivery Driver Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles (vans, trucks, etc.) to deliver goods to customers or job sites.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles with care to avoid damage.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled delivery times.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before leaving the warehouse.
- Interact with customers professionally, ensuring satisfaction with the delivery.
- Obtain signatures and documentation to confirm deliveries.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure road safety (check tire pressure, oil, fuel levels, etc.).
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Make sure the vehicle is clean and tidy inside and out.
- Report any accidents, delivery issues, or vehicle malfunctions to management.
Warehouse Duties
- Assist in receiving, unloading, and storing incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring products are labeled and stored correctly.
- Conduct routine inventory checks to report any discrepancies or shortages.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or hand trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow all safety protocols while handling materials and using equipment.
- Assist in other warehouse tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver and/or warehouse worker is preferred.
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment safely.
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs.) and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to follow directions, work independently, and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to driving and warehouse operations.
- Forklift certification (a plus but not required).
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Work is performed both indoors (warehouse) and outdoors (delivering goods).
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Shift hours may vary, and occasional overtime may be required.
- Reaching with hands and arms to type and respond to documents; vision requirements for reading.
- May regularly lift and carry up to 15 pounds of documents; ability to handle heavier items as needed.
